Group fitness sessions are held at the local oval and run for one hour. Every BAS Health & Fitness session is carefully programmed, based on Bas’ postgraduate qualifications and experience training professional athletes.
In our sessions you'll benefit from: :: Warm up. :: Specialist strength training focusing on safe lifting, functional strength, correct posture and increasing metabolic rate to improve muscle-to-fat ratio. :: High speedinterval training using evidence-based methods with short, intense bouts of activity. It's a time efficient and effective method of increasing endurance capacity. :: High intensity conditioning in the form of anaerobic or aerobic exercise which is highly effective at increasing your ability to cycle, run, box, kayak, swim etc. faster and longer. :: Running/sprintingtechnique correction to reduce chance of injury and get you moving more efficiently. :: Injury prevention exercises to reduce the chance of injury by correcting structural deficiencies and asymmetries. :: Cool down and stretch.
You’ll use an unrivalled variety of equipment including spin bikes, gymnastic rings, boxing gear, kettlebells, battle ropes, slam balls, tyres, paralletes, push sled and more.
BAS Health & Fitness sessions are defined by their creativity. You’ll always be challenged and get an intense work out that’s tailored for your fitness level. We can easily cater for injuries by modifying sessions so that you can continue to safely train and work towards your fitness goals.
Nutrition advice and meal planning is also provided for each group fitness client.
Children and babies are welcome to come along. There is always a safe, dry place for them to play close by.
